Today I got some bad news, a fellow artist and friend of mine (who I worked with for many years) has passed away. It’s such a drag when someone dies. Patric Zerr was a good friend, and a solid artist who was always fun to be with. I’m not remembering how old Patric was, but I’m pretty sure he was under the age of 40. I know he had family in the Seattle area, and that he died just 2 days before Christmas last month.
Patric was a kind and helpful person, who always looked out for those of us he called his friend. We had some great laughs and geeked out on youtube feeds, and sketch comedy. He shot film on a rangefinder and loved movies.
To be honest, I hadn’t seen him in a couple years, and though I often thought about reconnecting, life always pulled me the other direction. Now I will never have my chance.
RIP Patric. You will be missed.
